Anonymous correspondent tries to raise his status

Dec 19, 2006: Strange article on Times Online recently. Many of you will have heard of 'height' or 'status' shoes, specially designed footwear that add up to 4cm in height, even higher if used with extra lifts. This correspondent (who strangely didn't even use his real name)found that they greatly enhanced his confidence when meeting women.

An interesting article, but there was one obvious question, which was thankfully answered at the end. What did the girl think when he stepped out of his shoes?

Did she

1. Think he had fell down a hole?
2. Have flashbacks to that 50's sci-fi movie 'the incredible shrinking man?
3. Smile sweetly, see the funny side and still find him attractive?

Well, she just smiled and still went out with him.

This got me thinking. I am now going to go out to nightclubs wearing a Brad Pitt mask. When I pull a bevy of beauties and take them back to my place (telling them of course that Angelina is away for the weekend) I'll pull off the mask, we'll all laugh and then retire to the Jacuzzi.

Simple eh?
